COMPOSITION (Created by Resolution No. 008-25-16300 1/21/25)
The Committee shall consist of five (5) members. Each City Commissioner shall appoint one (1) person to serve as a representative on the Committee. Members of the Committee must be residents of the City and qualified electors, with a maximum of two (2) non-residents. Members should have an interest in municipal governance and, where possible, experience in public administration, law, or community leadership.
DUTIES
The Committee shall conduct a comprehensive review of the City Charter and identify provisions that may require amendment, revision, or repeal. Solicit input from City residents, stakeholders, and subject matter experts to inform its recommendations. Prepare a written report of proposed amendments, including the rationale for each recommendation, and present the report to the City Commission for consideration.
