City of South Miami to Host Placemaking, Branding & Urban Design Open House 

South Miami, FL – The City of South Miami invites residents, business owners, and stakeholders to join us for an engaging and interactive workshop focused on the future of our Hometown District and Sunset Drive. This Placemaking, Branding & Urban Design Open House will provide a platform for community members to share their ideas on how we can create a vibrant, cohesive identity and make these areas the heart of SoMi.

• Time: 6:30 PM - 8:00 PM 

• Location: South Miami City Commission Chambers, 6130 Sunset Drive, South Miami, FL 

During the event, participants will have the opportunity to engage with urban design experts, city planners, and branding professionals to explore ways in which we can enhance the Hometown District and Sunset Drive. The goal is to transform these areas into a nucleus of activity, fostering a strong sense of place and identity that resonates with the community and visitors alike.
