Service is provided only within South Miami boundaries.   Rate may be subject to change based on service requested.   Please submit your extra-duty job requests at least seven (7) days before the event as last-minute requests are less likely to be staffed. All jobs must be paid in full before the scheduled event and are subject to officer availability. The South Miami Police Department reserves the right to cancel any extra-duty assignment without prior notice due to unforeseen emergencies.
