The CRA staff, in conjunction with city staff, prepare a proposed annual work program and budget in accordance with the CRA multi-year action plan to be presented to CRA board for review and consideration. The Community Redevelopment Agency’s formal approval is necessary in order to establish annual Tax Incremental Fund (TIF) budget. Proposed changes to an approved TIF budget will be developed by the CRA staff in conjunction with city staff prior to consideration by the Community Redevelopment Agency board. The CRA workplans and budget submittals are more-or-less coincidental with the City’s annual budget process, resulting in common (10/1 - 9/30) fiscal periods. All annual appropriations are programmed pursuant to Florida Statutes, Chapter 163, Part III.
